Values

We believe a great culture inspires great work for our clients. While we take our work seriously, we also have fun. That’s one reason why turnover on the ReviveHealth professional staff is less than one-sixth the industry average. For our clients, this means better service, long-term relationships, and inspired professionals dedicated to their success.

We’re especially proud that ReviveHealth was named the Best Boutique Agency to Work For in 2010 and 2011 – and one of the three best agencies to work for in the U.S. out of more than 2,500 PR firms.

Be better.

We push ourselves – to achieve our own goals, to be better every day, to help each other, and to give clients the best.

Be real.

Trust, dependability, and integrity all feed off one another and are necessary qualities at ReviveHealth.

Be authentic.

We have lives – before work, during work, and after work. Yet it all makes its way into the office because we genuinely know each other and believe balance is important. Working at ReviveHealth is sharing your life with people that you care about, and being the same person at work that you are at home.

Take the extra step.

Creativity and distinction may take more time or more effort, but providing “color” makes us different – we’re the “anti-plain.” Whether it’s the artwork in our office, the paper we write on, or the creativity we offer clients, we seek to add a little flavor, and we are grateful for others who do, too.

Be more than more of the same.

Diverse backgrounds, opinions, and expertise create a better, more enriching firm. We’re not looking for more of the same – we’re looking for unique people who share our values and make us better.

Respect and transparency.

Respect is an overused term, but underused in practice. At ReviveHealth, respect means no one is more important. Communication is clear and feedback is honest, but tactful. We accept errors (but not carelessness) and forgive mistakes, without condition. And we have an open, transparent culture and physical environment – any and all questions are welcome from anyone to anyone at any time.

Personal growth.

As our people grow, so does our value to our clients, whose success is intertwined with our own development. Fostering growth makes us better professionals and is at the forefront of everything we do.

Have fun.

We laugh a lot – with you, at you, and at ourselves. We take our jobs and our clients seriously, yet we know humor brings a sense of calm and perspective, which is when we do our best work. This is supposed to be fun, after all.

Robert Berra

Chief Strategy Officer

Bob brings over 25 years of experience in directing and managing marketing communication and business development strategies to ReviveHealth. He has been at the forefront of leading many game-changing initiatives throughout his career. He was active in the HMO movement working with the pioneering Southern California-based health plan, Health Net in the mid-‘80s. Bob was also involved in the early stages of the drug formulary initiatives and developing regional prescription drug networks. Later, he worked with the country’s largest managed Medicare provider, FHP, prior to its acquisition by PacifiCare. His experience in that arena led to engagements with PacifiCare (United); WellPoint/Anthem; Blue Shield of California and Humana where he helped the health plan roll out its industry-leading Medicare Part D and Medicare Advantage plans across the country.

As a founding partner of an industry-leading marketing firm, Bob helped reshape the way in which medical devices and health information technology products and services were marketed and sold into the nation’s leading regional and national hospitals, health systems and health plans. From working with Fortune 500 companies such as Boston Scientific, Elsevier, Ernst & Young, Fuji Medical, McKesson, Medtroinc, Motorola and Toshiba, to emerging companies including Alere, epocrates, HeartWare, iScribe, iMetrikus, Thoratec, Vital Data Technology, and others, he helped hone both the marketing and business development approaches that led to successful C-suite engagements, sales, market growth, and in appropriate circumstances, successful exit strategies for his clients.

Additionally, because of Bob’s understanding of the business, technology and care delivery elements of our nation’s healthcare system, he engaged with numerous hospital and health network systems around the country to help those organizations advance their business and market leadership agendas. These engagements have included work for CAPG (California Association of Physician Groups); Carondelet; Centinela Hospital and Medical Center (Los Angeles); Facey Medical Group (Los Angeles); Hospital of the Good Samaritan (Los Angeles); Tenet; Sherman Oaks Hospital (Sherman Oaks, CA); and St. Peter’s Hospital and Health System (Helena, MT), as examples.
