With more than a decade of strategic communications experience, Malea is charged with helping clients navigate the sometimes-tricky healthcare communications terrain. Whether tackling a crisis or persuading a specific audience, she is able to transform complex healthcare issues into articulate and engaging messages for any target audience. Malea leads our issues/crisis department, which is comprised of veterans with proven experience in helping high-profile healthcare clients overcome controversy, shape their brand, and build public support.

She has spent her career helping clients translate their particular needs into actionable marketing and communications plans. Her expertise in issues management and grassroots marketing programs has helped leading healthcare and not-for-profit brands secure the right deal, elevate brand awareness and successfully manage long-term business relationships.

True to her Nashville roots, the love of music runs deep in her veins. You can find Malea scouting local music venues and festivals around the country searching for the greatest musical talent. She holds a bachelor’s degree in public relations and advertising from the University of Alabama and a master’s in mass communications from Middle Tennessee State University.
