As the leader of ReviveHealth’s Health Technology and Services practice areas, Shannon is responsible for the company’s segment strategies, business growth, and thought leadership efforts. She’s motivated by complexity and loves to dive deep into clients’ business challenges to build creative, strategic communications programs.
A recent graduate of the Nashville Health Care Council Fellows program and recognized health IT social influencer, Shannon is an expert storyteller and passionate voice for healthcare transformation. She is a regular speaker on key healthcare topics including big data and interoperability, and has a strong perspective on why and how healthcare companies must abandon jargon and tell business-driven, concrete stories.
Shannon has spent her career in both agency and in-house roles. Prior to ReviveHealth, she served as Director of Corporate Communications for Intel-GE Care Innovations. Her expertise in crisis communications, stakeholder engagement, media relations, and reputation management has helped Fortune 500 companies enter new markets and reach new audiences around the world.
An avid food, drink, and football connoisseur, Shannon is equally proficient in discussing the intricacies of health IT platforms, the science behind perfectly balanced cocktails, and the benefits of a 3-4 defensive scheme. She holds a bachelor’s degree in the history of religion from Wesleyan University in Connecticut.
